Metropix reaches awards shortlist

Metropix has reached the ESTAS 2012 awards Supplier shortlist...

...and clients have until 31 January 2012 to vote for their supplier of the year.

We are pleased to confirm that Metropix is on the voting shortlist for the 2012 ESTAS Estate & Letting Agent Awards, in the Supplier award category.

The Supplier award offers estate and lettings agents the opportunity to vote for the supplier who has helped make their business a success by delivering an enhanced service to customers during 2011.  Agents must have worked with the Supplier for at least 6 months during 2011 for the vote to count.

Can You Tell What It Is Yet…?

With our ‘budding artists’ competition in full swing, we wanted to post some fine examples to give inspiration to those customers who are yet to enter our end-of-year competition.

We are encouraging you to let your creative juices flow and to design your very own work-of-art within the Metropix floor plan system.   The competition has two themes to choose from: ‘the highs and lows of the property market’ or ‘Christmas 2011’. You have until 14 December 2011 to submit your entry.

As a reminder, the winning entrant will receive a luxury weekend break to a central London hotel for two people. Judging will take place at the end of December and the winner notified in early January. 

To enter, email your plan to support@metropix.com, adding the plan reference number in the main body of the email and including ‘Competition Entry’ in the subject header.  A maximum of three entries will be permitted per person.

Floor plans trigger 21.7% more homebuyer interest than those without

New data has been released that shows a continued increase in the use of floor plans by estate agents in the marketing of residential properties, and the resulting impact the plans have on home-buying consumers.  

Analysing data from Mouseprice.com, the free-to-list property portal, it has identified an increase in floor plan usage by a minimum of 17% over the last two years. In addition, those listings that are published with a dedicated floor plan are 21.7% more likely to have resulted in a user submitting the “Contact Agent” form than those that do not offer a floor plan as standard. It is also worth noting that these figures do not include any floor plans that have been uploaded to the portal as a photo file only, meaning these statistics could in fact be much higher. 

Drawing plans webinar programme

To further support our existing free training sessions and starting from 1^st November and running through to mid December, interactive webinars will be hosted during morning and afternoon intervals, each running for approximatley 20 minutes per session.  The morning and afternoon webinars will alternate each week starting with the morning webinars on 1^st, 3^rd and 4^th November. A maximum of 15 people can register to participate in each webinar, ensuring that everyone gets an opportunity to ask questions to the Metropix host.

The full webinar schedule will include the following sessions:

• Advanced Plan Drawing – time saving techniques for experienced users
• Account Preferences – how to enhance the appearance of your 2D floor plans
• Upgrades – applying upgrades to your floor plans (colour, free interactive plans, 3D, 3D Walkthroughs and ordering maps)

Introduction of direct debit as payment option

We are pleased to advise that following feedback from many clients, we have introduced a direct debit service as a payment option to using Metropix. 

Direct debiting provides a simple, reliable and economic way of settling your account. Those choosing it will, of course, benifit from the usual guarantees including:

1. Amounts collected will only be for amounts due and as detailed on your invoice/account.
2. In the unlikely event of a direct debit being presented in error, you can obtain an immediate refund from your bank.
3. You can cancel the direct debit instruction at any time by informing your bank and advising us accordingly.

If you would like to pay for the use of Metropix via direct debit click here to access the direct debit mandate, print and complete it, and then return the original to the address shown on the form. 

 

A fun competition to find the industry’s budding artists

Today we are launching a competition that invites all of our clients to test their artistry skills by creating a work-of-art using Metropix's online drawing software.  There are two theme options to choose from: ‘the highs and lows of the property market’ or ‘Christmas 2011’ and you have until 14 December 2011 to submit your entry.

The winning entrant will receive a night in a luxury central London hotel for two people. 

The judges of the competition will be looking for creative interpretations of the given themes and something that stands out to catch their eye. Judging will take place at the end of December and the winner will be announced in January.  A maximum of three entries will be permitted per person.

Those wishing to submit an entry should simply email it, along with the plan reference, to support@metropix.com and reference ‘Competition Entry’ in the title.
