With a number of the major portals agreeing that properties marketed with a floor plan will receive up to 30% more interest than those without one - it’s clearly important to ensure that every plan is displayed in the best possible way. However, the processes involved in uploading plans to the various portals have not always been conducive to this.
Firstly, the route to the portal often involves intervention from multiple systems which can compromise the quality of the floor plan file. Another instance is where a plan is uploaded along with photographs rather than being tagged specifically as a floor plan – this often results in the image being too small to be clearly ‘viewable’.
The good news is that The Digital Property Group and Metropix have joined forces to streamline this process for their customers. By introducing a system that allows agents to automatically link floor plans to properties displayed on Primelocation and FindaProperty in one easy step, such problems will be a thing of the past on these portals.
There is no additional cost to using this new feature and customers will benefit from:
Superior display – floor plans are uploaded and displayed as ‘premium floor plans’ on Primelocation and FindaProperty and, because the Metropix URL is used, it ensures the plan is displayed in the best possible way – clear, legible and correctly sized.
Easier floor plan enhancement - using Metropix’ unique URL to display floor plans it allows more sophisticated property visuals, such as interactive floor plans and 3D models, to be created within the Metropix account making them available on both portals almost immediately.
There’s no action needed by existing customers to benefit from this new service. On logging into Metropix – any floor plans that have been matched to a property on Primelocation and/or FindaProperty are flagged up, the user is simply asked to verify that the plan is indeed the correct one. That’s it … job done!
We’re sure that our customers will be delighted with this new enhancement to our service and, as always, we’ll look forward to hearing your feedback.
