At the beginning of June, we challenged you all to enter a brand new competition called:
“Oasts, Boats and Castles – The Most Unusual Floor Plan” competition
The competition was designed to showcase the most unusual plans that you have created using Metropix. I’m pleased to say that throughout June, we received a wide range of entries in all types of intricacy, detail and colour.
The judges have now scored all the plans, culminating in our top three entries. We are pleased to announce that the winners are:
- Janice Dalziel, Independent DEA, West Sussex
- Nathan Patterson, Manning Stainton, Leeds
- Jacqui Dougray, Stronachs, Aberdeen
A prize of a £200 Red Letter Day voucher is on its way to Janice; while Nathan in second place receives a £100 voucher, and Jacqui receives a £50 Red Letter Day voucher.
On being announced as the winner, independent DEA, Janice Dalziel said; “This is brilliant news! I’m really pleased to have won the competition. When I saw it advertised, I thought the Wesleyan Chapel in Beckenham would make a good potential candidate, as it was such an unusual shape and layout. It took me over two hours just to get all the measurements and dimensions! I’ve been working with Metropix for a number of years now, as having tried others, it stands out to me as being the most flexible; and I guess this plan is testament to this.”
Congratulations to our winners – and many thanks to all of you who took the time to enter.
